Duocel® Foam Properties & Application Guide

Metal Foam ERG is capable of foaming a variety of metals to produce Duocel® open cell metal foams. Duocel® aluminum foam is our most popular metal foam, followed by copper foam. Other Duocel® foam metals that we have produced, but are not currently commercial products include tin, zinc, nickel, Inconel, silver, and gold.								Non-Metal Foam ERG’s Duocel® carbon foam known as RVC (reticulated vitreous carbon) is made from a non-crystalline vitreous or glassy form of carbon. A variety of Duocel® foam ceramics are available, including silicon, silicon carbide, silicon nitride, silicon nitride/carbide, boron carbide, boron nitride and many more.
